Great play stand for Conure, some design defects,
I was tempted to give this a 4 star because of the design defects…..but I did a lot of research before purchasing a new stand this really is probably the best play stand for my maroon bellied conure so in the end I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND and we’ve found fixes for the problems.
Pros: The size is really great and gives Mango a good amount of exercise getting up and down and around between food and toys and perches. It has tons of places to hang toys, so be prepared with lots of fun things that your bird can chew and swing on and play with, and even more things to switch out and around every month. You don’t get that kind of stimulation and variety with those super-expensive wooden stands. It’s metal, so it’s sturdy and easy-to-clean (which the pull-out drawer is great for) and we switch out the newspaper bottom covering every few days. We have this play stand right next to our work desks (that my fiancé and I spend the majority of our home-time at) and this allows us to have Mango nearby and he’s happy to hang out and watch us or fiddle around with his toys and he gets the mental health benefits of being out of his cage and seeing new things.
However, here are some defects and how we fixed them: 1) Birds like to be as high as possible, so of course Mango climbed to the very top rung where the toys hang from and hangs out there nibbling on things – but that bar is so thin and smooth that we had to wrap it in jute rope to make it more grippable and it worked fine. 2) The dishes are placed well to contain the bird-eating-frenzy-mess but are also directly below the poop zone – so we had to tape some newspaper kind of like a roof for them on the middle bars. 3) The food bowls that come with it do not fit in their holders and the steel bowls have begun to crack…it’s weird. I’ve never seen anything like that happen before, and we haven’t figured out how to fix it yet…but I assume we can either complain to the company or get different bowls at a pet supplies store.
TLDR; Perfect size for a maroon bellied conure, lots of spots to hang toys for stimulation, a play stand is NECESSARY for healthy, happy birds, and there are some defects but you can easily work around those.

|Small Parot Play Stand,
When recieving the parrot play stand there were many bent parts. I notified the company and they were prompted to respond and mail out some new parts. I received those parts and had to contact the company again because there was still one missing part. I emailed them again and they were very prompted to respond. I would do business with this company again.

|Small Parrot play gym,
A really terrific play gym! My Quaker loves it and I plan on using it for my new blue crown conure! Lots of hooks for toys ….and easy to clean.
